Eyewear Policy
Limited Warranty: All eyeglass frames are warranted for one year with respect to manufacturing defects only. Warranties do not cover loss or theft. In the event of a claim, Colorado Eye Gallery reserves the right to repair or replace the frame or lenses. Copays apply.
If using Home Try-On to try frames on from the comfort of your home, frames must be returned to us within 7 business days by using the provided return shipping label. Failure to return frames in the allotted amount of time will result in your credit card that was used for the deposit to be charged the full retail amount of the frames.
Glasses can take up to three weeks to be ready and shipped out. Glasses ship out via UPS or USPS ground and can take 5-7 business days to arrive.
All promotions are for frame and prescription lens purchases only. Frame or lens only purchases do not qualify for any discounts.
There is a $50 fee to verify and troubleshoot eyewear fabricated by other businesses. Prescription re-checks more than 60 days from the initial exam are subject to additional examination fees.
Return Policy
There are no refunds or returns on exam services, custom-made/prescription eyeglass lenses or custom-made contact lenses. Within 30 days of purchase, one frame restyle is permitted.
Contacts are non-refundable after 60 days of purchase or if boxes are marked or opened. A 20% restocking fee may apply.
Non-prescription sunglasses or other merchandise can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 7 days of purchase. No cash refunds.
Contact Lens Policy
If your appointment includes a contact lens fitting and evaluation, the following policy applies. I understand that contact lenses are medical devices and state law prohibits dispensing contacts after one year from the date of the examination. Disposable trial lenses are for fitting purposes only and will be dispensed at the initial fitting exam only. Contact lens wearers should have a pair of glasses as a back-up to contact lenses. Contact lens prescriptions will be released to the patient after an assessment has been made by the doctor to deem an appropriate fit. Not all contact lenses are designed for overnight wear and if I am fit with extended wear lenses, I will follow the maximum extended wear recommendation. Contact lens examination fees, as with all other professional fees, are nonrefundable.
Contact lens examinations include follow-up visits for 60 days after the initial fitting exam. It is the patient’s responsibility to make sure that the follow-up is completed within the 60 day time period. If you fail to keep scheduled follow-up visits as recommended by the doctor during the 60 day period, additional office visit charges will apply. Any issues concerning the purchase or fees of the actual contact lenses are to be directed to the location where the contact lenses are purchased. Any medical eye conditions arising from contact lens wear will be billed as an office visit. To provide the best quality vision and eye care, contact lens services cannot be performed without an eye exam from our office.
